was founded in the summer of 2009 by Tarra Bathurst, a culinary graduate, to develop and market a variety of gourmet, gluten-free homemade soups.
The Soup Spoon provides an inexpensive, local, health conscious food option to New Yorkers' daily routines.
All soups contain the highest quality, seasonal ingredients from local farmers and vendors.

The Soup Spoon is growing and we are now in 2 specialty stores in NYC; Provisions & The Amish Market. I would like to continue expanding the soup business, but need a little financial help for my NYS Agricultural license. It costs $400 and will be valid for 2 years.
